1921 university

So...what is 1921 University? It's a fun and intensive two week Summer program for University Partner students studying business and entrepreneurship. Students will get a chance to partner up with other students from different universities, learn from 1921 speakers and business founders, mentors, and investors to learn how to take an idea to launch. Students can participate in person or virtually from their university in their own state.

"real-life" experiences from having an idea, to pitching to investors, to launching, and everything in between.

The 1921 University Summer Program ends with a dinner, recognition for the most outstanding team, and each student giving a business pitch to a group of actual investors. Each student will receive feedback on their pitch. This critical information will prove valuable when they are ready to take their own idea from paper, to pitch, to launch.

Providing this type of experience and training to Minority Entrepreneurship students is crucial as it gives them an opportunity to be on the same playing field as their counterparts. 1921 University is able to make this happen with great partnerships with local and out-of-state universities with high minority enrollments in their business or entrepreneurship programs. There is no cost to be a 1921 University Partner, but it can give your students an experience of a lifetime that you simply cannot put a price on. If you're a dean of business or the program manager over the entrepreneur program at your school and you'd like to be a 1921 University Partner, please email Brittany Thompson at brittany@1921coworking.com and we'll send information on how to participate.
